Vikings & Larson win Armor Up Invitational
Fort Worth, TX - Junior Brian Larson became the first Viking runner of 2021 to cross the finish line first, winning the boys race at the Armor Up Invitational hosted by Liberty Christian High School. His first place finish helped secure the meet victory for the Vikings.
Larson, a three year member of the cross country program, under the direction of coach Keith Kotar, posted a time of 11:26 over the two mile course.
Sophomore Alex Aleman finished second overall posting a time of 11:45.
Sophomores Joe Jackman and Noah Tepera placed in the top five while junior Logan Talabock finished twelve overall to complete the scoring for the Vikings.
The Vikings next race is Thursday, September 23rd in the Birdville Flyin’ Hawk Invite.
