Waco, TX - The end of any team's season is to finish strong and compete for a state title. Both Vikings tennis teams were in position to finish successfully and both did. Led by two third place finishes the Vikings return to campus feeling good about their season.
On the boys side the Vikings placed fourth overall. The brother doubles team of Chi and Duc Nguyn placed third in doubles play.
The mixed doubles team of Zane Tankersley Lona Le placed third overall, securing points for both teams.
The girls team was led by senior Micah Magday who placed third overall in singles action. Magday was awarded the sportsmanship award for her competitive spirit and friendship display throughout the two day tournament.
Head coach Dr. Chi Nguyen was placed with his team's overall performance.
