Waco, TX - The Vikings trio of sophomore Joe Jackman, junior Brian Larson and senior Jackson Reed finished the 2022 track season at the state championship meet.
Jackman finished his solid sophomore year running sixth in the 800M run and fifth in the mile run. Jackman missed the podium by a second in the 800M.
Larson finished 7th in the mile, running a personal record 4:45.72. He also placed eight in the pole vault.
Reed finished his track career finishing eight in the 110M hurdles and seventh in the triple jump.
Jackman and Larson will return in 2023 to lead a strong, up and coming program, who will be led by head coach Brian Farda.
"I'm proud of our state qualifiers this season, led by Joe and Brian. Those two set the tone for the boys team this season with their work ethic and season long effort. We will get back to work as we continue to build our program," head coach Farda concluded.
