Golf season ends in regional championships

Carrollton, TX - After securing a spot in the regional championships with solid play in the district tournament, both Vikings golf teams competed for the chance to advance to the state tournament.

Dixon missed qualifying for state by three strokes.

On the boys side, senior Jacob Lewis led the boys shooting a two day total of 165. Fellow senior Brendan Barragan shot a 167 in two rounds.

Senior Dalton Seager finished with 204 and freshman Nathan Le shot 207.

Senior Johnny Gonzales shot 118 during the opening round but was unable to compete in the second round due to sickness.
