Fort Worth, TX - Squaring off against cross town rival All Saints in the first of three regular season matchups, the Vikings trounced the visitors 14-3. Led by the sister combo of Damaris and Cecilia Saldivar and their six RBIs, the game outcome was never in doubt as the Vikings scored multiple runs in each of the first three innings.
The Vikings plated two runs in the first inning as Brooklyn Bennett doubled home a run and later scored herself. The double would be the first of two on the evening for Bennett.
In the second and third innings as the Saldivar sisters began to flex their muscle. Each of the sisters would have RBIs in the second inning to go along with another RBI by Bennett.
The third inning was no different as Damaris Saldivar would plate one runner and Bennett would hit her second double, scoring another Vikings runner.
The Vikings would blow the game open in the fifth inning thanks to back to back home runs by the sister duo. Damaris Saldivar hit the first home run, then sister Ceclilia followed with a solo home run of her own.
